Verizon recruited our owner while he was serving in the Marine Corps Reserve — specifically to build its government business. That service, in both the Marine Corps and the Army National Guard, gave him something no sales training can: a working understanding of how government operates at both the federal and state level, and how its buyers think, budget, and purchase. He opened government accounts across Nevada and Northern California — the airport authority, the Governor's office, emergency services, Homeland Security, and police, fire, and medical agencies — represented Verizon face-to-face with boards of directors at Fortune 500 companies and Nevada's largest resort and gaming operators, consistently exceeded quota with repeated promotions, trained sales teams across the region, and rose to Senior Client Executive, the senior Verizon Business field executive for the Nevada market.
He went on to serve as vice president at a licensed California solar contractor before founding EnFin, which has provided energy and financial consulting since 2011 — experience the company now applies to equipment supply as an authorized VAR for ChargePoint, Generac, and ButterflyMX.
Today EnFin is 100% veteran-owned and owner-led, supported by a network of consultants and contracted representation partners, and is expanding into new equipment categories by selecting a limited number of U.S. manufacturer partners.
